A few weeks before all this cold weather came upon us, Allison and I headed down to Freehold to capture a few engagement photos of Michelle and Edward in a stunning apple orchard. Both Michelle and Ed are artists. He designs video games and she makes awesome invitations; the two are just made in design heaven and are a blast to hang out with. This was my first orchard shoot and for some reason, I was under the impression that apple trees were a lot taller and offered a ton more shade. We made do and hid from the sun as much as possible. When it got really bright we ate apples, talked about how awesome Angry Birds is, and waited for a big cloud to come by. Here are a few of my favorite photos from that afternoon. If you ever get a chance to head down to Central Jersey, make a pit stop at Battleview Orchard, the place is fabulous.
Some amazing photos here. Fantastic!
Cute couple! I love that apple <3 shot and the first black and white. Great work!
definitely made a classic absolutely beautiful!
Awesome engagement pictures. I’m very jealous we don’t have any local orchards around here where we can do engagement sessions.
Very beautiful session. I also love that apple heart!
DAMN!
What a super cute couple. Love the way you work the light. 🙂
Well worth the wait!!! These are fun and amazing!
Great set – the heart made of apples – if someone told me about it I’d say cheesy – looking at your photograph: very cool
Nice! Great rich colors. Very cool use of wide angles too to incorporate the scene– apples, train tracks, wall, etc. They look like they had a lot of fun too!
LOVE that heart or apples- what an awesome idea!!
Cute session, the colors are wonderful.
The apples-on-the-ground heart is so cool. And the third photo – the black-and-white dip – awesome. Great work.
