Today we lost Steve Jobs and I shed a tear. Few people have inspired me to succeed like the man who helped popularize the personal computer, created a company that changed the way we interact with technology, and pioneered cartooning far past the next level. Look around you. People and companies are always afraid to try new things, to embrace change, to stop following the trends—they are complacent in their ways and that is their place in the world. Steve Jobs was something different. He was a man who told us what we needed, and nailed it almost every time. He never followed the pack, never feared failure, and always stayed one step ahead of the curve. What Steve Jobs taught me most was to never be afraid of the unknown. Today, I tip my hat to one of my heroes. Steve Jobs, you will be missed.
