As you can tell from my portfolio, I hardly ever do family portraits. I just find that my eclectic and slightly warped style doesn’t really lend itself to generic Sears family photos. I couldn’t shoot a traditional family portrait if I tried. However, once or twice a blue moon a really open-minded family comes along and gives me carte blanche to do whatever I want with their kids, as long as I capture their personality. I headed back up to Kip’s Castle this Summer for a family session with the Solomine’s that was literally two years in the making. We had a blast and I think the photos are some of my best family photos ever. Well, except for my Chinatown Hustler portfolio. But I don’t think I’m ever going to pull off something like that again. Thanks Kerri for letting me photograph your stunning family. You guys rock.
We should be thanking you (and Aunt Rona- of coarse). Not only are the photos exceptional- you bonded with Logan and Grace so they truly enjoyed the photo shoot! You will have to take it up with Josh who the true NINJA really is… Because Logan needs to know ;). Maybe I can convince you to do it again in a few years? You are very talented and we wish you incredible success! And for the record….. Who wants sears photos anyway!?!?!?!
These photos are soooo awesome!
