I can’t lie. I tried to discourage Sabrina and Matt from taking their engagement photos in New York during one of the most frigid winters in years, but they had their hearts set on a New York engagement session and I wasn’t about to let a bit of frost get in our way. The bad news was that there was an ice storm the day before, so we had to stick to the black top. Luckily, the Bethesda Fountain and Literary Walk area of Central Park is the perfect location for an engagement session as it’s teeming with different background options. I found Sabrina and Matt at an adorable little cafe on the side of the park. We had hot coffee and chatted for an hour about our love for animals and punk rock before braving the chilly New York air. To be honest, this was the best Central Park engagement session I’ve ever done and I’m so happy with how the photos came out. Sabrina and Matt were troopers and we ran around the park until I literally couldn’t feel my focus-button finger. It was so worth it. Here are some of my favorite images from the shoot.
