How does the old saying go? “You can take the city out of the boy, but you can’t take the boy out of the city.” Last week, Allison and I drove about an hour and a half into New York State to meet up with Jenny and Josh, two avid hikers that are way more attune with nature than any New York City dwellers that I’ve ever met. We spent a serene late afternoon walking around the woods (okay, the lovely couple with us hiked while Allison and I got caught in briar patches, stumbled down embankments and slipped on rocks).
