Caren and Adam set this year off with a kick ass wedding that almost made me forget how frigid this past winter was. I know it’s easy for me to say, but Caren and Adam are absolutely perfect together. The two are fairly quiet and reserved on paper, but when you get to know them, you realize that they share this sense of humor that is equal parts strange and absolutely hilarious. They are just as much best friends as they are significant others, and it’s impossible not to be friends with them after sharing just a few short hours with them. I simply adore Caren and Adam and was so happy to be invited into their lives to document such a perfect evening.
The wedding took place at Cedar Hill Country Club in nearby Livingston, NJ. The venue has lovely grounds and a ton of photo opportunities, but alas, the unusually subarctic March weather forced us indoors. A huge thanks to the amazing bridesmaids and groomsmen for braving the cold for a few somewhat quick formal portraits. The ceremony took place just after sundown in a naturally darkened hall inside the country club. The mood, however, did not reflect the environment as the hall lit up with the love and joy of hundreds of Caren and Adam’s closest friends and loved ones. After a sweet exchanging of rings and wine, the room was flipped for a night of never-ending celebration. Here are some of my favorite photos from their big day. I hope you love them.
